We collect Certificates of Analysis alongside sourcing and husbandry documentation, looking beyond a supplier’s assurances to the records that support them.
We research our ingredients’ nutritional properties and the evidence behind their potential benefits for dogs and cats. Bison, Ostrich, and Alligator require significantly less land to produce the same amount of protein as traditional livestock like cattle and chicken.

Conventional veterinary treatments offered temporary relief, along with unfortunate side effects, and the recommendation for long-term steroid use inspired her owner, Jared Shlager, to search for a different path—one rooted in nature, nutritional science, and a deeper understanding of the healing potential of food.
